Dr. Shaz Zamore is the STEM Outreach Coordinator at the ATLAS Institute at CU Boulder. They merge their neuroengineering background with social engagement, creating Craniate, a hands-on and visual informal education tool for underserved K-12 students.
Outside of work, Dr. Z is often found outdoors–hiking, snowboarding, working on cars, or building something absurd out of wood and metal. They also enjoys cooking, singing, and the flow arts (hoop, fan). Dr. Z is a diehard burner, and enjoys the opportunity to share science in a unique (and hot!) environment.
